SSC JE Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should read the SSC JE Eligibility Criteria provided here before applying for SSC JE. The candidates who do fulfil the eligibility criteria of SSC will be rejected from the recruitment process.
The candidates 18 to 32 years. The maximum and minimum age limit is different for the respective posts and departments. However, age relaxation will be provided as per government rules.
The candidates should possess a degree or Diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. See below:
SSC JE (Civil), Border Roads Organization (BRO) Ministry of Defense –
Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University or Institute (Desirable – Two years working experience in the field of civil construction in monitoring and executive of projects).
SSC JE (Electrical and Mechanical), Border Roads Organization (BRO) Ministry of Defense –
Three years Diploma in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) from a recognized University or Institute (Desirable –Two years working experience in the field of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering in the area of construction in monitoring and executive of projects).
SSC JE Application Form
The candidates can only apply through online mode. No Application Form will be accepted offline. The link for Applying Online will be hosted on this page. The candidates can apply for the said posts from here without any hassle. Fee paid in respect of online applications through SBI Challan /Net banking and any credit and debit cards will be accepted. The Application Fee is Rs 100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribes, Physically handicapped and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying the fee, as per rules/instructions of Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.
SSC JE Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of total marks in the written examination & personal interview. Those candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the personal interview round. Those who are finally recruited will be on probation for a period of two years. During the period, they would be required to complete the tests and pass such examinations. Once the period of probation is over, they will be confirmed to their post.
